TEACH KU

This organization is for students of color on the KU campus , within the school of education, who aspire to be Educators after graduation. Our org has two main purposes. 

1. Partake in community outreach and programs with the local school district to expose children to more teachers of color while also being a positive role model and inspiration to the younger students of color so they can realize that they too can be teachers. 

 

2.  Provide monthly programming or events for our fellow KU classmates of color within the School of Education to better prepare on what it means to be a teacher of color in a Eurocentric focused field.
