Association of Indian Students at KU

Welcome to the Association of Indian Students at the University of Kansas (KU-AIS) a student organization in Lawrence, KS.

We are a non-profit organization and our purpose is to cherish the rich and vibrant culture of India. We give prime importance to assisting students transitioning into the new cultural environment of Lawrence while strengthening the roots to their Indian heritage.

We provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity through participation in various events such as listed below. We also organize social events such as picnics, dance parties and movie nights several times throughout the year.

There are no additional steps required to join AIS as it is an open group and all the event are open to all KU Students. You can follow us on Instagram- IndianJayhawks to be updated about upcoming events and to contact the board about any questions or concerns.
