Global Partners

Global Partners

About

The Global Partners program fosters meaningful connections between Domestic and International Students at the University of Kansas. The program promotes intercultural friendship, cultural awareness, and global perspective by matching students based on shared interests, hobbies, and majors. Participants are encouraged to engage with each other by attending events, volunteering, and sharing aspects of their culture and interests. In addition to building long-life friendships, students can earn credits toward the KU Global Awareness Program (GAP), which recognizes their international engagement on official academic transcripts. All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to participate. To learn more about the program, email globalpartners@ku.edu. Initiated by the International Support Services Office, KU Global Partners is a valuable opportunity to explore global perspectives and cultures here at KU.
