Parent Organization: Student Involvement & Leadership Center

ASHRAE (the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) is a diverse organization representing building system design and industrial processes professionals around the world whose mission is to advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. The University of Kansas ASHRAE Student Branch hosts professional speakers, organizes technical tours, and provides opportunities to network with industry leaders. It also gives underclassmen a chance to meet and learn from upperclassmen in their degree programs who are going into this field.

Though not required to attend most KU ASHRAE events, official student membership in the organization provides:
