American Society of Civil Engineers

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is the primary organization that represents the civil engineering profession nationally. The goals of the national organization are to advance civil engineering and protect public health, safety, and welfare.

The student chapter of ASCE at KU is devoted to supporting CEAE students through hosting technical learning meetings, socials, and professional development events. Our goal is to increase interest and retention of CEAE students, as well as serve as a contact point between the students and faculty. KU ASCE is open to all engineering students!

KU ASCE is the parent organization of two competition groups: Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge.
